Problem with region spesific links |

We are using StatPlanet with commercial web licence in our institution. Recently I tried to assign links to the regions of the map using the method described in the User_Guide_StatPlanet.pdf on page 23, the section titled as “Country/region specific information and/or links”.
Our problem is as follows:
· I press the “Save Data” button and close the file after the macro ends.
· I run the StatPlanet.exe file which is at the same folder with the data editor file and everything works perfectly, region spesific links are directed to PDF files as... |

Is it possible to add a description for categories and not only for indicators? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello ,
I have this file (on dropbox) data_example_for_import_worldmap.xls
At the import all countries names changes to "country"
What is wrong ?

I would be plased if some of you could let me know how to add subcategories. How should I design my excel sheet? I already see the guide and no mention about it.

Error 1004 on mac |

Hi Frank,
I have a mac and have dowloaded and extracted StatPlanet (not Plus) to my desktop. I can open the data editor and clear the data without a problem (macros are enabled), but when I try to import data I get: Run-Time Error 1004.
I know others have encountered this problem. I have uninstalled Skype and am not sure what to do next.
Here is the code that is highlighted when I click debug:
DataFile = Application.GetOpenFilename("All files (*.*), *.*", , "Please select a file to import")
Any suggestions?

So I'm getting the error below.
TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.

Hi I keep getting this error when I open up the .exe file and click on "show scatterplot" for any indicator.
Below is what the error says.
ReferenceError: Error #1069: Property setStrBTop not found on com.statplanet.SPdata and there is no default value.

Hi,
I'm new on StatPlanet, I'm working on an interactive map of natural reserves. I have added one shp on StatPlanet Plus, and it works perfect, but I would like to add more SHP on the map so I can easily locate the reserves in the study area.. can I do this? if so, how can I do it?
If not, can it be posible to put an image layer or a raster on the background so I can locate better the areas?

Setup shapefile button? |

Hi!
I'm new to statplanet and want to use some custom shapefiles to make maps. The userguide refers to a Setup shapefile button which can be found in the Statplanet_data_editor file... however, no matter how much I look for it, I can't seem to find it. Makros are enabled, but apart from clear data, import data, save data and settings there are no other buttons..
Sorry for the silly question, but where can I find that button?
