Hello, I'm trying to link my regions on main map with their own "local" maps in other instance of StatPlanet. But it gives me an error: TypeError: Error #1010: Термин не определен и не имеет свойств. (Term is not defined or hasn't attributes). How to deal with it?
Besides it, StatPanet tries to launch new "linked" instance in web-browser. How to launch it in flash?
I would be very grateful if you could send me some sort of UserGuide in linking))
P.S. I have demographic category with sub-category population (time interval 2000-2010) and I'm trying to import new... |

Hello, I'm trying StatPlanet_Plus free, and I want to load my map with my data, but I get an error when you select the file excel "StatPlanet_data_editor.xlsm" in step three of the file "quick_start.pdf": click on the button 'Setup shapefile' (in the top-left, macros need to be enabled). The error is: "System Error & H8007007E (-2147024770)" and another dialog shows "Insufficient Memory". My PC has windows 7 and excel 2010 and 4 GB of ram. I thank the person to help me with this error.

Hi,
I had used the 'shapefile map' version' - /StatPlanet_Plus/Shapefile_map_(ESRI)
and deleted the files 'settings.csv' and 'data.csv'.
To test if it is setup correctly, I had opened the file 'data.txt', I saw the correct charcters. - Hangul(korean char) or Chinese character.
and, I executed the file - StatPlanet.exe.
but, I cannot see any character. there is blanket and no character.
However, When I change the character from Korean or Chinese to Greek or Turkish in data.txt file, I can see the sentence.
I guess that it works the character... |

Hi,
Thanks for your reply previous question.
I have resolved this issue through removing the particular lines.
and I also guess this issue due to the Unicode.
The language of my Window and Excel is Hangul - Korean language.
and the other ways, I have changed my the locale of window and then It was done well.
but I had another problem.
After I have changed the nation english name to Hangul,Korean language at the file - data_example_for_import_worldmap.xls
ex) chana -> 중국
I have imported this file and saved and played... |

I'm happy I find this program.
but to test this statplanet, I have opened StatPlanet_data_editor.xls at Create_Flash_Maps folder.
and, I have clicked 3.Save data button. and then I have encountered this message - Complie error.
this is Cells.Replace What:="?, Replacement:=" - ", LookAt:=xlPart" at Sub SaveData() function.
is this syntax right?? I guess that this source is wrong.
Could you give me the method to fix it.

Hello.
I have siguientete mishap, I need to locate the information panels, graphics and variables on the sides of the map and not up as the default.
Is there an option to change this?

Hey guys,
I'm working on making a family tree for our tenth family reunion, and I'm hoping StatPlanet can help. What I want to do is have a world map, and where each member of the family lives, have a pin. Each pin, if clicked, would have the connection from that family member to the other pins in other parts of the world. Example: If Jane Doe livs in Grand Rapids, USA, and her sister lives in Mumbai, India, clicking on the pin will open highlight the connection. Is that something StatPlanet can help me do? If so, where can I get instructions? If not, is there a program that you know... |

Hi Frank,
I am using a mac, just installed Microsoft Office 2011 for mac, and am using StatPlanet Plus.
When I open the data editor in the world map folder, I get a message that the document is read-only (after a few clicks a message saying I can now edit the document pops up). I have been able to use the "clear data" button without trouble, but when I try to save the changes I have made by clicking the "save data" button, I get a message saying "Run-time error 438 - Object does not support this property or method." My only options then are to click "End," "debug," and "help,"... |
