I would like to add commas for the values in the map legend in the bottom left (e.g., for >12000000, make it >12,000,000) so that the viewer can more quickly figure out what the values are. Is it possible? Thank you for your help!

It is possible to replace each value shown in the map legend with any kind of label - and this label could be ">12,000,000" for example. For more details, please see http://www.statsilk.com/files/resources/User_Guide_StatPlanet.htm#_Toc343618916 section "Map legend with custom colors and labels"

Dear Frank,
I followed the procedure you showed me: copy map legend from StatPlanet and paste it on my data editor file on "MAP": from here I modified the number with the commas. For example: 0=[0x08519C][12000000] has been modified by 0=[0x08519C][12,000,000].
Unfortunately, when I try to open Statplanet again this message occur "An Actionscript error has occurred" and the program does not run anymore. Did I make something wrong? Thank you.

Dear Sergio,
You would need to follow the exact format as shown in the section 'Map legend with custom colors and labels'. The format in the instructions is different, something like: 0=[0x08519C][12000000][12,000,000]
So the actual number followed by the label/formatting of the number.

Hi Frank and Sergio,
I have a map with a long list of indicators and I would like to format all legends to have commas. Is there a more systematic way to insert commas without individually typing in customized formats for each row/indicator? It would be nice if there were a check box for commas/percents/etc.

Hi Monica,
Unfortunately there is no more efficient way to insert commas (besides writing an Excel macro for it). However, the next version which is planned for release end of September will add the commas automatically.
