This could perhaps be the result of simplifying the map (if you used one of the tools listed here http://www.statsilk.com/maps/useful-free-gis-shapefile-map-tools). Otherwise, you could try renaming the file SHPreader.swf to something else, and then renaming SHPreader2.swf to SHPreader.swf. It may also be related to the error in your other forum post.

My original shapefile is a mapinfo file. When I convert from mapinfo to shp format I encounter vertical line problem. When I convert it using http://converter.mygeodata.eu/ I have run time error 1004 problem.

Have you tried opening the resulting shapefile in other software? Is it also a vertical line? You could try using QGIS (free) to convert it, see http://karlhennermann.wordpress.com/2013/03/15/converting-data-between-m....
