General discussion

I'm interested in creating linestrings (basically connecting two geographic points on the map with a line) using geo-coded time-series data from one spreadsheet (on my local machine) on top of a layer of e.g. World Bank population (time-series) data.  Is this something that's available in StatPlanet Plus or any other version?

Hi,
Connecting two points on the map is a feature which is planned for either the next version of StatPlanet (3.0) or the following version, depending on time contraints. Would you be able to describe what kind of linestrings/data you wish to visualize it, and do you have any suggestions for formatting this in the data file? (Currently the plan is to allow the insertion country ISO codes in the data file, in the same location as regular data, to indicate a link with the corresponding country for that column).
Cheers,
Frank
