can i use an image as a background in statplanet plus? And one last question, i have tried to add map point, according the instructions of user quid, but it doesn't appear in statplanet. What can i do?

Hi Maria,
It is possible to change the color and add color gradients for the map background. If you wish to insert an image, you could do that with the Custom Flash map version, but this would require the Adobe Flash software. This is the only version which provides full control over the map design, including the background.
Regarding the map points, there are several reasons why it may not appear:
1. Did you add the map point at the very end of the list of map regions in the StatPlanet Data Editor?
2. Did you make sure there is data for the map point? (they are not shown when there is no data). For testing purposes it can help to create a test indicator with test data for all map points.
3. Once you click 'Save data' and you ensured there is are data values for each map point, the map points should appear in the top left corner of the map.
