There is currently no StatPlanet version for Mac. However, it is possible to copy the free web version of StatPlanet into StatPlanet Plus for Mac.

The steps to do so are as follows:

1. Download both StatPlanet and StatPlanet Plus for Mac
2. From the 'web' folder in StatPlanet (World or USA map, whichever edition you are using), copy the two files 'content.swf' and 'settings.csv' into the corresponding 'web' folder in StatPlanet Plus for Mac. Overwrite the existing files.
3. Make a copy of settings.csv, and call it settings_statplanet.csv
4. You can now use StatPlanet Plus for Mac and the web version will be StatPlanet. However, whenever you 'save data' in the StatPlanet Data Editor, it will automatically generate a settings.csv which is only compatible with StatPlanet Plus. You would therefore need to remove this new 'settings.csv' file in the web directory, and replace it with the backup you made in step 3, i.e. make a copy of settings_statplanet.csv, and rename it as settings.csv.

If you need to make changes to any of the settings, the settings.csv file can be edited directly (making a backup file "settings_statplanet.csv" after any changes, as the 'settings.csv' file will be overwritten by the StatPlanet Data Editor as described above). Please refer to the sheet 'settings' in the StatPlanet Data Editor for a description of each of the settings.
