The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia used StatPlanet to support the Ministry's initiative on budget transparency, which is part of a Global Initiative for Fiscal Transparency (GIFT). Within the Directorate General of Budget, dashboards were created to enable the public to oversee the budget prepared by the government. The budget transparency is further monitored by Open Government Indonesia, at the Office of the Presidential Staff (Kantor Staf Presiden).
