Edit indicators in Popup |

Hi StatPlanet,
I have about 14 indicators that I would like to be visible in the popup that appears upon hovering over, in my case, each state in the USA map.
My first question is: is there a limit to the number of indicators that can appear in the popup? (It seems to me that 8 is the limit currently. If so, can I change that?)
My second question: many of the values for the 14 indicators have no data, but instead of the popup box showing that any particular indicator has "No Data," is it possible to simply eliminate that indicator from showing up?

Getting a limit of 200 on indicator list |

Hello,
I am using StatPlanet Plus, and have around 270 indicators in the statplanet editor. When i open statplanet.exe only 200 indicators are visible. Is there anything I can do about that? I know from what I read that StatPlanet plus has an unlimited number of indicators-but for some reason they are not showing in the actual .exe document.
Also, when I import data into Statplanet editor and save. and then want to import another different worksheet, it is not working. I have to download statplanet plus again and start from scratch. Is this normal?

"Source" label placement, Statplanet web version |

Hi all
I have run into a formatting issue with the webversion of statplanet, in regard to the placement of the "source" text in the indicator window. The source text lays on top of the indicator, rather than being placed at the bottom of the indicator window. This fault does not occur in my offline version of statplanet.

Adding custom shapefile maps |

I found the instructions in the user guide for how to import a custom shapefile map, but they direct me to look for a folder called shapefile_map_(esri) which doesn't seem to exist. Not sure where to go next! Can someone point me in the right direction?

Option: "Group" for StatPlanet Plus |

Hello,
I am having some trouble using the option: "group" in StatPlanet Plus when I have sub-categories (I have done this successfully without sub-categories). For example, when I attempt to use this feature with sub-categories and place the group code in the category row, the radio buttons fail to appear. If, instead, I put the group code in the sub-category row it creates raido buttons for all except the last group and the map legend is all messed up.
Am I right to assume the inclusion of sub-categories nullifies this feature or am I just doing something wrong?

Hello,
I'm using StatPlanet_Plus and I have some doubts about putting further information in the interactive map. I know how to insert a link into a country but I wanted to put like a paragraph of information and I cannot do it by <font...></font>.
Do you have any suggestion?
And is it possible to jump by cliking a country, into a PowerPoint or other type of presentation?

Disabling export data button in StatPlanet Plus |

Hi all
Is it possible to disable the ability to export data from StatPlanet Plus online version? I could not see this option in the settings, though could have missed it. Ideally, I would either like to disable the export data option (but keep the export graph & map options), or change the path of the data export option to a data file I can control, rather than the datafile associated with the displayed map. Is this possible at all?

Manipulating mouseover pop-up |

Hi all
I would like to manipulate the mouseover pop-up so that when you hover over a region the pop-up returns the value from the data, together with additional information about that value.
For example, suppose I have a region which I hover over, for which the value is 12, the popup would show:
Region X: 12
But suppose I knew that the value Region X could take ranged between 8 and 16. Is there a way to manipulate the popup to display this information as follows?:
Region X: 12 (8-16)

Uploaded data, but cannot see all indicators |

Hi,
Brand new to StatPlanet -- great application.
I uploaded my data from two different datasets: one was data I downloaded from one of the StatPlanet preloaded World Bank files, and another was my own file.
Both data sets appear in the data.csv file.
However, when I run StatPlanet, I do not see the indicators from my own file. I only see the indicators for the World Bank file.
Any idea what went wrong?
I am using Excel 2007 on a Windows 7 OS (64-bit).
