Mac

Hi, I followed the instructions on the FAQ to run the software via 'StatPlanet.html' found the the web folder to open the map inside safari browser and chrome. Both browsers after completing the download showed "statplanet" without the maps, panels and any other items.

I tried opening world maps and usa maps but all the same results. I asked my friend to try on his mac and he told me the same thing happened. Both of us have the latest adobe flash player installed and relatively new mac. Please advise what we are doing wrong. Thanks.

Please let me know of any resolution!

Hi,

Sorry to hear about the difficulties encountered. Here is a check to see if Flash Player is properly installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

It could also be that you didn't extract the files onto your computer. The files cannot be opened up from within the ZIP file, the ZIP first needs to be extracted (see also http://support.topspinmedia.com/entries/20822646-How-to-extract-a-zip-fi...).

I hope that helps to identify the problem.

Best,

Frank

The Flash Player was properly installed and the zip files were properly extracted. However, it still showed "statplanet" only without anything else. How should I proceed then? Thanks.

To give an update, a desktop Mac version is being prepared and will be made available ASAP. Thank you for your patience.

Hi,
StatPlanet Plus Mac has just been released and is available for download here:

www.statsilk.com/files/software/StatPlanet_Plus_Mac.zip

It includes desktop versions of all StatPlanet Plus editions. Please note that the web version only runs once it is online, so the desktop version needs to be used for testing purposes.

Best,

Frank
