Hello
I am being succesful in loading the data and the shapefile but with the following problem. The location of the labels fall in a single point outside of the shapefile polygons. It seems the coordinates are not matching the data table.When mouse over on the polygons nothing happens, data is only activated when mouseover on the single point where all the labels are together. Zoom in can not hel pin discriminate their posistion either.
I check the shape saving it again in QGis as suggested with WGS84 on it but did not work. Any clue how to solve this?

Well, I finally managed to make the map be linked with the data but the bad thing is that the data allocated to each polygon is not the right one. How to secure consistency on this?

NObody on Sundays forced me to solve it by myself, please do not worry about this thread now. I am now in the process of translating the guide into spanish if useful for somebody else different to my students.

Glad to hear you managed to work it out. You can find resources in several languages other than English here - http://www.statsilk.com/support/resources, but at the moment there are no resources in Spanish - so a Spanish guide would be a great addition!
