i have problem with fonts
dont know why and how to repair.
when i prepare and open content.swf file in explorer or browser some letters from words are missed.
for examle in place of "RĪGA" where typed "RGA". problem is in special characters: ēūīōļķģšāžčņĒŖŪĪŌĻĶĢŠĀŽČŅ
have u idea, how i can repair this problem?

Hi,
Support for special characters is only available in StatPlanet Plus, which requires a license for the web version, as well as commercial use of the desktop version. Have you tried using StatPlanet Plus? Which version are you using? (i.e. shapefile, world map...).

i am using StatPlanet Lite version, inserting own map. all works good. only fonts not working. seems not embeded in flash;(
not tried statplanet plus.

Yes StatPlanet Lite does not have those fonts embedded. They are not embedded by default as it increases the file size - StatPlanet would be twice the size if it supported all major fonts/characters.

if it not embeded by default, may be u have opportunity to embed this font in special lite version only for users from eastern europe.? ;)

Unfortunately a new release of StatPlanet Lite is not so easy at the moment, as the software has been rewritten since the last version and the 'Lite' component still needs to be integrated (which is the reason why StatPlanet Lite has not been updated for a while). This will be looked into but I cannot promise anything soon. I would suggest looking into StatPlanet Plus for any urgent projects. Hope that works for you.

Have you tried the 'shapefile version'? The desktop version should have support for additional fonts. For downloading maps, please see: http://www.statsilk.com/maps/download-free-shapefile-maps
