Error #1502: A script has executed for longer than the default timeout period of 15 seconds.
I think it is caused by the large number of regions that reaches to 8000 regions. What kind of solutions I can do in order to display data from those 8000 regions in StatPlanet Plus??
I have reduced the size of my map by using Mapshapper and Quantum Gis, and the result still show the "Error #1502" message. Is it caused of large number of regions?? or may be you have other solutions for my problem.
Hi,
It is indeed caused by the large number of regions. If you could e-mail the map files I can have a look. If it's not feasible, you could split the map into several regions perhaps, and then use a map of those regions to link to the region-specific maps. But perhaps I can get it to work.
Best,
Frank
Hi,
This sounds like a time-out error when loading a large shapefile map (and/or a map with a very large number of regions). Have you tried simplifying the map as described here? http://www.statsilk.com/maps/useful-free-gis-shapefile-map-tools#reduce-...
Best,
Frank
yes, it was too big too many features. Thanks anyway!

Hi,
Such a large number of regions can indeed lead to a time-out. Have you already tried the solution proposed above? (http://www.statsilk.com/maps/useful-free-gis-shapefile-map-tools#reduce-...).
