I Have: US map divided into 50 states in shapefile (Free download).
I need: US map divided in 5 zones in shapefile.
for: a statistics project I am doing for my professor.
Any help/ guidance will be highly appreciated.

Example:
Zone East: all east coast states
Zone West: all west coast states
Zone South: Texas + Few others
Zone Midwest:
Zone Mountain time zone:

Hi,

I want to add a legend to my map that makes use of the 9 colour classes. All my data is discrete in jumps of 0.5. I have chosen HEX codes that I want to associate with the values in the legend, however I'm struggling to:

1) Work out how to have both ranges and discrete values in a legend (i.e. I want 0 to be white, and then ranges to grade out away from 0). I have listed my colours and ranges below:

0x1A9850 >10
0x66BD63 5-10
0xA6D96A 2.5-5
0xD9EF8B 0.5-2
0xFFFFBF 0
0xFEE08B -0.5--2
0xFDAE61 -2--5
0xF46D43 -5--10...

When I start to manipulate the data editor things move along smoothly. I am able to save and display my data. However, seemingly at random, I get the following error message "Excel found unreadable content in "StatPlanet_data_editor.xlsm". Once this occurs, and my Excel sheet is "repaired" is a virtual point of no return. Once I receive this error message once, I am unable to import data and get a Microsoft Visual Basic "Run-time error '9' - subscript out of range.

Any ideas?

I have more than one page on my site containing an embedded StatPlanet.swf file.
I followed your clear FAQ for doing this - it worked fine for the first page , but when I try and load the second page with a different map - it will only load the first map! I have uploaded a separate full, web folder containing all the info, for each map into w-p/uploads.
I have written in the header.php file the conditional statement required for each page - referring to each page title. I have rechecked many times. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I must have missed something!
