Hello,
 
I uploaded a big shp map, but dont need all the polygons from it.
Question: How could I delete polygons and data that I do not need ?
Using StatPlanet Plus and a shapefile.

Time Trend in wrong direction...Right to left instead of left to right... 9 years 4 months ago

I have data that is weekly.  I entered the data into the editor with the oldest date at the top, and the most recent date at the bottom...So instead of trending from left to right, the chart is trending from right to left...The weeks are added in the format "April 8, April 12, April, 19...)
Is there a setting that can change this or do I need to put the data in the editor in the other direction?

Only 8 Indicators showing on Indicator Panel, 2 are not showing on the panel 9 years 6 months ago

I have imported 10 rows of data into my USA demo shapefile that you provide.  I would expect a scroll bar to appear and allow me to see all 10 indicators, but the Indicator panel is only showing 8 rows.  
I have looked in the settings and have not been able to figure out why my indicators are limited to 8.
What settings affect this?

Can you tell me how to move a dot or a city I have created on the StatPlanet map by using smaller scale than 0.05 (x and y) in the M-DOT-COORD ?

Cannot upload map using WordPress 9 years 6 months ago

Hi there,
I am using Statplanet Plus and am not able to upload the map to the web-page.
I have followed all the instructions in the FAQ (created a folder in wp-content/uploads/statplanet, then added the tag into the header file

I then downloaded the application and required to upload the flash programme and added the correct .swf file.

However, when I go into the page, there is nothing.

Fresh download of statplanet plus doesn't work 9 years 6 months ago

I just downloaded Statplanet Plus. There's four versions included. Two of them work, two of them don't. 
The "World Map" and the "Shapefile Map" open and just show "Statplanet" 
"Custom flash map" and "USA map" load just fine.
I didn't change anything, just unzipped a fresh download.
I'm running Falsh 10 on a Windows 8.1 Pro. I tried on a second laptop too, with the same result.
Did not find similar problems using Google, my apologies if my Google skills failed.

I am using a StatPlanet Plus map online. When I select multiple locations for display on a time series graph, they all use the same icons on the graph panel (a blue box); there is no way then to differentiate the data points unless I hover over them. Is this something that needs to be adjusted in the code, or is there a setting somewhere within the online map that I'm missing?

Hi there,
I am using StatPlanet Plus in a WordPress installation. I have 3 maps generated from 3 separate datasets on 3 separate WordPress pages. Data and .swf files are stored in 3 different folders (/map1  /map2 etc) and I added conditional code to generate the correct base url for each map. All works well.
Now, I need to put all 3 maps on the same page and the "system" used above does not apply/work.
Is it possible to use a single base url for 3 different data files? Can you change the filename of data.csv so that you could have a number of data files in a single...

Can "Select an indicator" bubble remain so people find dropdown menu of maps in middle of screen? 9 years 8 months ago

People are believing we only have 3 maps and never finding the list of maps that drops down in the middle of the screen. If the "Select an indicator" bubble could return after the very first arrival at the site that might help. Any ideas? Hi,
I've downloaded StatPlanet for mac and I'm trying to open StatPlanet.html in my browser (chrome, safari, firefox) to test it in web mode. I've the last Adobe Flash version.
When I open it, remains locked in the initial screen StatPlanet and doesn't work.
If I open the StatPlanet.html file with Dreamweaver it works in live mode.
Someone could help me?
