Map of Germany and Multiple Data Files 12 years 10 months ago

 
Hi,

I have two questions :

1. Previously I asked you for a good map of Germany and as per your instructions, I used Berlin and Bremen as 'Map Points'. But now we are willing to use the maps created using StatPlanet Plus in more professional way and these two circles are not looking that good. I have searched in the links for downloading free shapefile maps and VDS Technologies administration maps of countries. But both of them are providing the same map of Germany which does not fulfill our requirement properly. Can you please provide me with the following files...

Hi!
I'm importing shapefiles of municipalities of Sao Paulo State, Brazil. The IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) provide free shapes of many geographical themes (census tracts, hidrography etc.). I export this shapes from ArcGIS and gvSIG too for use in StatPlanetPlus, but the maps are distorted.
How I do?

StatPlanet Lite works locally, but not over the network. 12 years 11 months ago

Hi,

I'm having trouble moving StatPlanet Lite from my desktop to a LAMP web server. The software runs well locally, but when I move it to the server and open the StatPlanet.html file, it freezes at the StatPlanet logo and "Loading StatPlanet: 100%."
I've even copied the directory structure out of a newly-downloaded .zip of StatPlanet_Lite into the server's www directory, and I get the same strange behavior, except this time it freezes at "Loading data..."
I am at a complete loss for how to make this work.

I'm interested in creating linestrings (basically connecting two geographic points on the map with a line) using geo-coded time-series data from one spreadsheet (on my local machine) on top of a layer of e.g. World Bank population (time-series) data.  Is this something that's available in StatPlanet Plus or any other version?

In Statplanet 2.1, there is a text label that appears next to the time slider when it is animated. Is it possible to change the font size of this text or disable it?

How do i embed a custom logo into Statplanet plus? I can't find it anywhere in the manual.

Dear statplanet,
Sorry to sound lame.. but I can't help wondering why my shp works just fine in statplanet plus, but won't load in statplanet lite. Tried about 100's times (with 3rd party s/w to "repair" my shp), but still no luck.
I really hope that you can help.

Dear StatPlanet,
I want to modify my map legend to incorporate values to the thousandth decimal place.  Below is my current modification; however, this input is not working and will not produce a map.  What is wrong with it and how can I fix the problem.  Thank you for your help.

This is the new place to discuss about and request support for StatPlanet. The old forum hosted at edutube.org has several hundred posts so many questions have already been answered there.
