Creating a map showing population at the county level 8 years 5 months ago

Hello everyone,

I am creating a map showing county populations in Texas, however some counties do not show colors to indicate high or low population? All the couties have data associated with them in the Data Editor, does anyone have any idea why this would be?

Problems with the OGRE Web Client 8 years 5 months ago

Hello,

My problem at the moment is with the OGRE Web Client. It has shown unreliability for the past few days and I am trying to finish a project. It either gives me a message that the file cqannot be downloaded and converted or it displays an error page. Is anyone else having a similar issues? And if so is it becuase I am generalizing the shapefile in mapshaper.org before trying to convert it to JSON?

Completely removing selection panel 8 years 5 months ago

Good Morning!

I have been trying to figure out how to hide the selection panel completely from view.  I checked off "VIEW15 - show selection panel on startup", which initially hid this panel from view; however, upon selecting a state, the panel shows up again.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using version 3.4.

Hello Sir,

We are using Statplanet for exploring our Educational data in a graphical way.

I have created a sub category.Dropdown work good in the map.

For eg :TIMSS >Grade 4

                       >> Overall

 

The above feature works good.

Now I want to have

TIMSS >Grade 4

           >>Overall

           >>>Group by Country

Please let me know if this is possible or How to achieve this ??

Creating URL that directs to specific category tab 8 years 7 months ago

I have a map here - http://civicyouth.org/maps/state-civic-ed/ with two different categories of indicators -- "Basic Requirements" and "Political Educatoin".  Is there a way to create a URL that goes directly to the "Political Education" tab? 
Shapefile map: Error with map produced 8 years 8 months ago

Hello,
I am new to the newer versions of StatPlanet, I was following the User manual to create a new map. When I tried using the Shapefile to create a map, it produced an over-simplified shapes. The map displayed is deformed.  Has it got to do with the shapefile I was using or there is an error with the process. I don't know how to include image to this post, I would have included the screenshot for this.
Version: StatPlanet v.3.4
Platform: Windows 7
Steps taken: I tried several conversions with varying shapefiles from my project and it gave the same result

StatPlanet in IIS 8 years 11 months ago

Dear StatSilk team,

We moved StatPlanet projects from Apache to IIS, this cause the maps didn’t loaded and give error message “Unable to load map/map.shp” as the following link http://sis.scad.ae/dv/Foreign_trade/ .

How we solve this problem?

Help - The map is grey 9 years 1 month ago

The map is all grey (it does not show the color-intesity of each variable)
and I cant click on it.  When I click on the name of the places (up in the right) I can see the data but not on the map.
Could anyone help me to find out what is happening?

Problem with import data csv 9 years 1 month ago

Available Functionality -import data

I am using StatPlanet Plus with the world Map on at this site -.
For the above referenced site I would like to do the following:
1. In StartPlanet_data_editor.xlsm
   I clear the  data and  import my own data.csv . I save it
        2. To view the results in my browser, i go to the sub-folder ‘web’ and select ‘StatPlanet.html’
       and i get this error: "unabe to load data.csv"
      Do i set something in StatPlanet.html? or.  I try it severeal times but it doesn't work.....
